Taxi Fares for New Providence, Grand Bahama and Family Islands, excluding Bimini, Harbour Island, St. George's Cay (Spanish Wells), Abaco Cays, The Berry Islands and Exuma Cays, published by the Ministry of Transport, Aviation and Local Government in July 2001

Fares
A. (a) For the conveyance of up to and including two passengers:	(i) For the 1/4 mile (per mile)	$ 3.00
	(II) For each additional 1/4 mile	$ 0.40
(b) For the conveyance of each additional passenger over two		$ 3.00
(c) For the conveyance of a child under five years of age if accompanied by a passenger		NIL

B. (a) For the use of a cab for one hour, where the cab is hired by time	(i) For five or fewer passengers	$45.00
	(ii) Any other cab	$60.00
(b) For every additional 1/2-hour or part thereof:	(i) For five or fewer passengers	$22.50
	(ii) Any other cab	$30.00
C. Where a cab is required to wait after being hired (except when hired by time) for every minute or part thereof		$ 0.30
D. (a) For the carriage of not more than two pieces of hand baggage and small bags and packages carried by passengers		NIL
(b) For every additional piece		$ 0.75
(c) Large duffle bags and large boxes		$ 1.00
